Public Works
Public Works Department is responsible for development projects and utilities management for the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
Programs under the Public Works Department include Utilities, Roads, Facilities & Maintenance, Broadband Services and the Tribal Historic Preservation Office. Specific services that are offered to the community are trash service, water & wastewater services, new water, and septic, and internet services.
Our policy is to provide as much information to the community as we can by all lines of communication — whether the Rawhide printed paper, digital Rawhide via Facebook, the Spokane Tribal Member Portal, flyers, community boards, tribal employee emails, member texts, or the “moccasin telegraph” aka word of mouth. We are also extremely interested in hearing from you. Please share your questions, comments, concerns, compliments, or complaints with us — preferably in writing so we can hold ourselves accountable to you. If you would like to reach out, please contact the Department Director who is located on the 2nd Floor of the Tribal Administration Building.
