Building strong relationships with the West Plains business community continued during the West Plains Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament on June 28, 2007. For the last couple of years the Spokane Tribe was the major sponsor of the Chamber’s annual fundraising event. As part of the sponsorship the Spokane Tribe had the opportunity to showcase its Two Rivers Houseboat Adventures enterprise. Throughout the day Josie & Brittany Kieffer worked at the informational booth sharing details about the Tribe’s new houseboats. Events such as the golf tournament, the Tribe’s participation in the Lilac Festival, the new historical wall at the baseball park are important tools being used to keep the positive side of the Tribe in the public eye.
