The Spokane Tribe of Indians is now accepting applications for the Youth Employment and Training Program.
Length of Employment
Employment will start on September 14, 2009 with one group of 50 participants for one session:
Ø Starts September 14, 2009 & Ends June 1, 2010 or 480 hours, which ever comes first
All Youth Between the Ages of 14-21; are Encouraged to Apply.
Documentation of the following information is required prior to employment:
Last semesters report card, you must be enrolled in school and maintain a minimum of
2.0 GPA (Proof required), Age, Physcial Address, Native American descent, Social Security Card.
Eligibility for employment is as follows:

Spokane Tribal Member.

Other Federally Recognized Tribe.
-
First Line Descendant of Spokane.
-
First Line Descendant of Other Federally Recognized Tribe.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Completely fill out the required Youth Job Application, any incomplete applications will not be considered.
Ø Applicant’s are subject to a pre-employment drug test
