The Spokane Tribe of Indians is now accepting applications for the Summer Youth Employment and Training Program.
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT
Employment will start on June 21, 2010 with one group of 140 participants for one session:
Starts JUNE 21, 2010 & Ends AUGUST 13, 2010
All Youth Between the Ages of 14-18; (18 if entering college) are Encouraged to Apply
Documentation of the following information is required prior to employment:
Age, Physcial Address, Native American descent, Social Security Care.
Eligibility for employment is as follows: Must possess one of the following:
TANF Client.

Spokane Tribal Member.

Member of a Ferderally Recognized Tribe.
-
First Line Descendent of the Spokane Tribe.
-
First Line Descendent of other Ferderally Recognized Tribe.
SPECIAL REQUIEMENT:
Completely fill out the required Summer Youth Job Application, Any Incomplete application will not be considered.
Applicant's are subject to a pre-employment drug test
Application are available at the STOI Tribal Youth Program in the Alex Sherwood Memorial Center or Afred McCoy Administrative building (HR Dept.) or any Reservation Youth Center
